Flowers for a cure

April 30, 2015

For the entire month of May, a quarter of our profits are going toward the Lynn Sage Foundation and their mission to find a cure for breast cancer.

In 2003, Laura and Halee founded the Lynn Sage Foundation in memory of their mother, Lynn, who died at 39 from her battle with breast cancer. Since then, the two sisters have been dedicated to finding a cure for this very serious disease that effects the lives of so many.

Every year, LSF raises over $200,000 to the Lynn Sage Scholarship program, where top researchers in the field are granted the funds to find a cure. Currently, Dr. Athanassios Vassilopoulos is the featured scholar who is leading the way of research of tumor cell resistance.

Ways to join their mission:

  • Send a bouquet!
As always, a quarter of profits go toward our charity of the month, and with Mother’s Day around the corner, you’ll have no excuse not to!
  • Send an eCard.
Will go perfect with the bouquet you picked out for Mom.
  • Go to an event.
Throughout the year, LSF hosts various activities to raise funds. Events range from group fitness and yoga to wine and dine parties.

Every donation brings us closer to finding a cure!
