Introducing the new & improved Flowers for Dreams
August 28, 2014
Today is a very big day for our small business as we are launching a revamped website from our new location in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood! To commemorate this big step, we want to share our journey to today with you: our company has been around in one form or another for over four years. Here is a relevant post from our former incarnation: Lake Shore Roses.
Even back then, we still had an altruistic mission to give back the love that the community gave us. Our original model was based on the one-for-one concept that each bouquet that was bought outside of an event would enable us to donate a book bag of school supplies to a Chicagoland public school in need. Our philanthropy evolved into a more mature model of donating a quarter of all our profits to a difference local charity every month in addition to donating a backpack for every bouquet sold at events.
Our co-founder, Joe, crowd surfing at this year’s Build-A-Backpack Day. While Flowers for Dreams has its roots in our parents’ garages in the North Shore suburbs, we have really upgraded with our chic new space in Chicago’s West Town. Stay tuned as we explore what this wonderful neighborhood has to offer!

While many things about Flowers for Dreams may be new, our commitment to shaking up Chicago’s floral industry through killer customer service, technology, and philanthropy hasn’t changed one bit.
