Rescuing Dogs with Flowers

Each month, Flowers for Dreams partners with a local Chicago charity to give back. This month we’re partnering with One Tail at a Time, an all-breed dog rescue committed to lowering euthanasia rates through the rescue and adoption of dogs in need. The non profit also focuses on comprehensive support of adopters, community outreach through humane education programs, and assistance for disadvantaged and low-income families.

This Valentines Day, every Flowers for Dreams bouquet purchased supports One Tail’s efforts to rescue Chicago-based puppies from abuse and sometimes worse. To help, send Valentine’s flowers to your valentine. Who wouldn’t want to give flowers and save puppies at the same time?

Meet Lottie, a baby female hound mix, who recently payed our studio a visit. She loves playing fetch and tug-o-war just as much as she likes to snuggle. She’s an absolute sweetheart and has been enjoying spending the winter wrapped in a blanket with her foster mom.

For more information on adopting Lottie and others like her, visit One Tail at a Time to fill out an application. All of One Tails animals are housed in volunteer foster homes and can be introduced to approved potential adopters who complete an adoption survey.
