New Moms

We’re all about celebrating moms this time of year, and what better way to honor the moms in our lives than to support New Moms, a charity dedicated to helping young moms and their children.

New Moms was founded in 1983 by a woman who wanted to make a positive impact for the teen moms in her neighborhood who were without funds and without a home. She took it upon herself to buy and distribute diapers from the trunk of her car. This act of kindness kickstarted a greater willfulness to further help these young mothers.

Today, New Moms continues help moms or expectant mothers below 24 years of age and their children who are homeless or are experiencing poverty by equipping them with work tools, education, life skills, and emotional support. The goal is to permanently change their lives so they are in economically independent and can support their family.

We’re so thrilled to be celebrating New Moms for the entire month of May. Every bouquet sent for Mother’s Day and all month long will benefit their cause.
