Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance

April 11, 2016

We’re proud to support our April nonprofit, the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance, as we partner to raise awareness and funds for one of our nation’s largest and most historic conservatories. The GPC Alliance is a member and donor supported project, designed to backbone the broad programming and the continued existence of the conservatory.

GPC Alliance inspires us to participate in what their website describes as the process of changing lives through the power of nature. The best way to do this? By inspiring, educating, and encouraging Chicagoans to partake in innovative experiences and programs at GPC.

Did you know that the GPC is among the top 5 largest conservatories in the country, spanning over 14 acres? Did you know that the GPC is over 100 years old? Did you know that over 100,000 people visit the GPC each year? If you haven’t checked out the conservatory, you must go!

Recently, our team was invited for a special after-hours tour of the conservatory led by Marie Stringer, the GPC Alliance development coordinator. There we were able to briefly escape the Chicago winter and enjoy the conservatory in it’s peaceful state. We can’t wait for our next visit!
