Build-a-Backpack Day

The event is Build-a-Backpack Day, hosted by Supplies for Dreams, where we volunteer to help package backpacks with 25,000 individual school supplies.

Every year, we promise to donate a backpack to a Chicago student in need for every bouquet we sell at school commencements. This year, we were able to donate nearly 3,000 backpacks all from the sale of flowers. That brings us to a grand total of 12,300 backpacks donated since 2012! It’s definitely a number we’re not ashamed to gloat about.
